    1. Thank you AHTS. What do you expect from a born and bred Sri Lankan having lived in a so called "Village" -- to my relations and worked in the Wanniya?
Things rub off as one grows.

Wish you & your family all the very best for 2018.
      AAAMIN.

  2. SO Sorry Mates, have made an error ...a typo in the third--3rd line of my New Year message!!
It should read as "VASANTHAYAK" instead of the 'gobbledegookk'... age you know!!

  4. Razaque, so good to see you back, hopefully to stay this time !
As Sumathi has said, your sinhala is so good - makes me feel very ashamed!
I have figured out a lot of your verse, and shall consult my BIL in Melbourne to have the rest translated . He has educated me in the past to say ’Esema Wewa’ . I can go a bit further now and say to you and all your family-
    Suba Aluth Avuruddak Weva !

  8. Welcome back, Razaque! Good to 'hear' your voice again! I wish you, Farina and the family the very best in the years ahead. It wasn't the same without your humor. I confess, I tried to type a message using Sinhala script on my computer (I do have the capability, up to a point) but the letters available were limited, so it didn't make any sense. I will pledge to be more active and regular on the Blog as well. I have been somewhat erratic :(

    1. Hi!Srianee,

Mind your Sinhala wards,if you were to try again.
      They sound erotic to us.
